Baozhu is an orphan with an unfortunate fate ahead of her. Her late grandmother had gotten her a string of pearls and warned her never to change her name. Since she was a child, Baozhu could see things others could not. Eventually, she opened a dessert shop, taking in the fox spirit Hu Li and the headless ghost Ding. Their days at the pastry shop are rowdy, but warm. When she receives a bone bracelet, however, things start getting out of hand...
